CARaDOC Team 2020

Tiago is a third-year Ph.D. student at L2S - Laboratoire des signaux et systèmes at CentraleSupélec. He works with autonomous cars and his research interest includes intelligent vehicles, platooning systems and string stability. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from UFRN - Brazil and a Master’s degree in Control and Automation from UNICAMP - Brazil. Tiago joined CARaDOC in 2019, for the November edition he works on developing a program for the event. After attending the previous edition in 2019, he decided to join and to organize CARaDOC. Tiago is in charge of the program and logistics of the CARaDOC 2020.

Renata is a first year PhD Student working on high magnetic field resonance physics and imaging at NeuroSpin, CEA. She has a double engineering degree from Télécom Paristech and Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and master degree in biomedical engineering from Université Paris Descartes. She participated in several events and organizations since her arrival in France and felt she could do more to the integration and welcoming of foreign students in France, that's why she joined CARaDOC and embraced our challenge. Renata is heading the external communications team.

Irena Lystopad is a Ph.D. in Philosophy received in cooperation between EPHE (Paris) and NaUKMA (Ukraine). She is passionate about changing the world via teaching and volunteering for humanitarian and educational associations. In CARaDOC Irena is in charge of coordinating sponsorship solicitation and fundraising efforts.

Pooja is a second-year Ph.D. student at university Paris-Sud, working at IPN Orsay. Her work focuses on studying Supernova Remnants in hopes of finding the origin of PeVatrons. She is also a part of the calibration process of the Medium sized telescope of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA). She joined CARaDOC because it is a promising opportunity to meet people from different cultures, help bridge the gap between students and recruiters and most importantly have a life outside of one’s office! In CARaDOC, as a part of the communication team, Pooja is involved in reaching out to multitudes through engaging messages and also contacting various companies.

D.S.S.S.Pradeep is a second-year master’s degree student in International Business at Université Paris-Saclay. He has done a double degree in Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business Management. He had worked in the banking and insurance sector for three years as a Senior Financial Services Manager. He is more passionate to work with different organizations & help them to reach their agenda. He believes, CARaDOC is a unique platform for organizations as well as for students to exchange opportunities.

Edmond is a first year PhD student in mathematics applied to genomics (LaMME, Evry). He holds an engineering degree in biostatistics (ENSAI, Rennes). He is part of the CARaDOC team and excited to help with the communication challenges.

Taha is a second-year PhD student at GeePs laboratory, Centralesupelec. Graduated in Electrical Engineering and Automatics from INP-Enseeiht, his research concerns more specifically electrical and smart materials for automotive applications. To show off the bridge between the PhD and the professional world, be it academic or industrial, he found in the CARaDOC initiative a wonderful opportunity to respond to this need: we invest some of our time to connect qualified profiles of researchers with the companies that show up, and we invite you all to join this adventure.

Zoé is a third-year PhD student working on fundamental research on subatomic physics, more accurately on nuclear structure on the heaviest elements at CEA-Saclay. Curious and passionate about science, she loves to share her passion and her view of the world around us by joining different events of vulgarisation and scientific mediation. Very enthusiastic she also enjoys helping others, especially young researchers in their professional career by organising seminars and workshops as part of the CARaDOC event.

Mai is a second year PhD student at Université Paris-Saclay. Her research focuses on understanding Drug Delivery Processes of Nanoparticles by in situ NMR spectroscopy and relaxometry. He completed his master's in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at Université Paris-Saclay. Interested in bio-inspired and biocompatible materials and multidisciplinary approach.
